Just open the pcx, they work fine as a preview. I like the two first eras, but less so the two last ones. Maybe doing something Phnom Penh style would work best for the later periods (i.e. old french colonial houses possibly mixed with slumps and some industrial type buildings).

Actually, it is not right. Not all browsers have preview for pcx, then put a jpg as

Posting a jpeg preview isnt the best thing either, an in game shot would be ideal, since jpeg's look pixelated. A pic from isnide the game also helps you verify if everything colour-wise is right with the pcx

jpegs dont have to look pixelated-If you use a decent program it looks just as good as any other type of image file.

Agreed C.S., yet you can see the difference between the jpeg preview and the ingame preview yourself. Palette accuracy is the one issue that can only be judged from an ingame preview :)

edit: i didnt see that you said you were hoping to appease me  And just at the time i was working on a Poseidon unit for civ2 ;) but i wont have a god-complex now :)

Perfect, with a few minor tweaks, these will go in the FF mod for the 'asian' civilizations.

I have updated my cities with Pinktilapia's suggestions as best as I was able to, plus in hopes of appeasing Vawnos have have this in game screenshot:

Can you post a preview of the (new?) industrial/modern eras if changed?
Otherwise, it certainly looks great on the SS, especially if you imagine that the water area near the city is the Tonle Sap :)

OK. I've updated my preview and if anyone says it looks pixellated, they're talking crap as it has been saved with minimal compression and previewed in Photoshop.....
