Turnchat 1370 AD: VICTORY!! 14:00 EDT, 18:00 GMT

Last turnchat of the game.
1270 AD (Last TC before the Brew-Ha-Ha) Save, Zipped
Save, File

This is on Thursday, July 7th.

Unlike the normal TC Thread, I want to keep this one open to the people.
This also serves as my presidental thread.

Here is my plan for victory. Rather than push the button a few times, I am going for one risky move and capturing the enemy city of Lagatero. While this may be a stupid move, if successful, it puts us at the end of the game in one turn.

Hmm, I suspect this one wasn't really a typo, but something to actually research.

External Consulate Instructions

Wars: Just follow the plan SaaM made up, take Lagatero, make peace, and push enter.
Deals: Don't sign any deals no matter the conditions, except the Mayan peace after we capture Lagatero.

Yippee, a victory chat! I plan to show up if possible. I have one question though: is 14:00 EST really EST, or is it EDT but mislabled? I'm under the impression that it is really EST given the GMT time, but I'm not completely sure.

19:00 GMT = 3pm Eastern Daylight Time = 2000 CET = 2pm Central Daylight Time (1pm if you guys don't use savings time).

I plan to be there.

Let's have the prez post the actual TC time in terms he's familiar with and we can adjust accordingly.

Don't ask CT, she has no clue with timezones.

If you see the time I wrote this post in at:

9:50pm -- the turnchat is at 3pm
6:50pm -- the turnchat is at 12 noon
1:50am (July 7th) -- the turnchat is at 7pm
2:50am (July 7th) -- the turnchat is at 8pm

These are all based off the universal GMT time that Stuck gave, 1900 GMT. Understand Stuck?

Stuck, if you mean 2pm where you currently are for this time of year, it is EDT.

If you see the time on Ginger_Ale's post as 9:50 PM then we need to correct the table of times to say the TC is held at 2PM EDT which is 1800 GMT, not 1900.

I'm going to request a moment of silence at the start of the chat for the victim of todays attacks in London.

That is all.

T-1 minute and only SaaM, Rik, and I are in #turnchat for the victory chat. Come on, where's the participation?

Of course, I haven't really been here the whole DG, but hey, at least I showed up for the victory chat.
