MSTK1 - Monarch (Training?) Game

I've been playing Civ for a while, but I lost my disk, crashed my computer, and had many other bad things happen to me. Final story, I haven't played it for half a year. I just re-bought it a week ago.
I'd like to get my skill level back to how it was before. Maybe a succession game is the same way? Monarch is a good steeping-stone.

This will be a Monarch Game, so anyone who is around this level can join and improve their skills, as well.

Anyone up fora game?

Anyone have suggestions on map settings/civ?

I'll toss my hat in I suppose. Been wanting to play an SG. Been playing Demi-God in MP lately and not doing too shabby, so I guess I might be overqualified. But if you run out of people I'm in. I might even be able to teach somebody something! The thought. :lol:

I say France or England, depending on the map.
 
I usually play large/huge continents with expansianist or seafaring civs. My favourite is Arabia (exp./religious with a fast UU). However I'd be happy to play any civ. Are we playing C3C 1.22? Standard rules?

Bede - I read through Clive1 recently and learned a lot from your comments in that game.

hi mates I would like to join if the offer still stands :) I'm comfortable with Warlord and would like to learn more! If not I'm sure to lurk around :P
 
Nope never played Regent game yet. I'm very new, it's ok I can lurk :) Is it ok if I ask questions now and than?
