Reserved Post (I might need it)

Switzerland, Belguim, Gold Coast, and Hati all checking in.

Belguim proposal is to fund Franchponiqe centers in all major cities of Franchoponiqe members. This will aid in promoting French culture.

Yes, some ideas of Quebec are Jeux de la Francophonie, basically a scaled down version of the Olypmics, Juno Awards, which will be awards for the best French Musics and Movies, and a fund to French Cultural Events across the world. Quebec will formally propose these once an important PM is replied to from France.

Holland strongly opposes La Francophonie, this for the fact that the Dutch speaking part of Belgium called Vlaanderen are against the organization, we think that if Belgium joins the organization then Belgium will be more French then Dutch.

Belguim points out that this is simply a cultural orgnazation not a polotical one so please do not bring polotics into this.
Also how would Netherlands know what the Ducth speaking part of Belguim is against?
Belguim is a democracy and if the people are against something they will make that clear.

We hold strong links with the Vlamingen, we see them as Dutch.....sorry for any interferences.....

Like Belgium said, this is purely a cultural organization, it has nothing to do with non-francophones. In fact, if non-francophones in other countries with to start their own cultural organizations like La Francophonie, then that would probably be a good thing for the world. After all, it is our culture which binds us, and our language which makes us human, why should we not try and preserve and enhance it?

La Francophonie is a good idea. It shows the greatness of French culture and is a good example to the rest of the world.

Quebec has no objections to Indochina joining. If there are no objections to Indochina's request to join in 48 hours, then you shall be admitted into La Francophonie.

Quebec would like to propose the following proposals for La Francophonie:

Proposal I

La Francophonie shall establish the Jeux de la Francophonie (OOC - Francophone Games in English). These Games shall be composed of Sports and Cultural events. Such events shall include Art Competitions such as Sculture, Painting, Song, Traditional Dance, among others, and Sports, which shall compose of such activities as Aquatics, Equistarian, Athletics, Basketball, and other such activities. An Independent Jeux de la Francophonie Committee composed of members from each of the La Francophonie will be in charge of determining the details of these Games, and the locations of these Games. They will be held once a year, in a nation of the Committee's choice.

Proposal II

La Francophonie shall create a special type of Awards, like the Oscar Awards, called the Juno Awards, which shall be awarded to the best French-language songs, films, and books, and will promote the best French-language books, films and books. An Independent Committee composed of experts in films, books, and songs from each of the member nations of La Francophonie shall be composed to organize the details of these awards, and whom the awards should go to.

Quebec would like to present these additional proposals for La Francophonie's consideration:

Proposal III

La Francophonie shall create a fund, called the La Francophonie Cutural Development Fund, in which it shall distribute monies to various cultural organizations and events with the goal of promoting and maintaining the French Language and Culture. Member Nations of La Francophonie shall be encouraged to donate to the fund. An Independent Committee shall be founded which shall distribute the funds as it sees fit.

Proposal IV

La Francophonie shall construct French-language Universities in nations around the world, with the purpose of having French students attending these Universities and learning in their native language. French language and cultural courses shall be taught at these Universities, along with more mainstream courses. An Independent Committee shall be enacted which shall have the duty of determining the best locations to construct these Universities.

OOC - This will be a project for La Francophonie, silver, I will need a cost for this. I see a maximum of 10 being constructed around the world, definitely one of each in the member nations of La Francophonie, and some in French-speaking regions of the world not in La Francophonie.

Proposal V

La Francophonie shall build a series of Museums around the world that shall be dedicated almost solely to French Culture and French History. At least one shall be built in every member nation of La Francophonie, and shall incorporate the history of the arrival of French Language and Culture into that nation or region of the world with the local history and culture of that region.

OOC - Once again, this shall be a project, there might be more Museums built then Universities, maybe 15-20, definitely 1-2 in each member nation of La Francophonie, and some in non-La Francophonie regions of the world. Once again, need numbers for this, silver.

OOC - Thanks. And since we have no objections, Indochina is now part of La Francophonie.

Quebec thanks the members for the votes, and welcomes Indochina as the newest member to La Francophonie.
