I hate screwing around with .INI files. Heres some pre-made ones for using the Napoleonic Units in your mod or scenario.

Includes:
Napoleonic Infantry
Guard Infantry
Ship of the Line
Napoleonic Musketman
Grand Battery.

All tested in-game, except for the Napoleonic Infantry.

Why bother with them at all? Just include ..\Conquests\Napoleonic Europe in your 'Scenario Search Folders', and you're set to go! Animation, ini files, the lot.

To be honest, though, I made some update to the Napoleonic Musketman ini file in my scenario. I don't remember why. Perhaps Firaxis forgot a sound file?

Also, make sure you include things in the path in the right order. To be really safe, you may want to use something like

MyScenario;..\;..\..\civ3ptw;..\..\;..\Conquests\Napoleonic Europe

You'll still need to edit pediaicons though with the animname
