If a thread has a poll, are you more likely to look at it. I often look at threads with polls in them even if dont care about the topic.

Not really, depends on who created the thread and what topic is it. But I do go to the thread with polls so that I can click on some radioactive monkey buttons.

Well, since this thread had a poll, I had to look at it.
Pretty biased poll though, it is like calling a random sampling of a thousand people and asking them "do you have a phone?"

If the topic isn't interesting enough to post in, I might add my vote and check out what's winning, but not post. So in other words, polls are more likely to get attention, but less of it.
