The Budget Office has been closed due to suspects of corruption. I will have to build my office with my own money. For now, I will have to work like the ancestors: with stones and in open air. I accept any donations. You don't need to specify if it is for the Government of Olympus or for my personal bank account . I will take care of that.

OK Civlord, here's my pitch.

It is without question that Olympus is the most fertile of all of our cities, thanks to the Wine and the Wheat. After we build the final Settler for Priopos, I will need you to consider helping the city of Styx reach a potential where it can become a fertile provider.

Why all of this talk of fertility? Because that is the true road to making all of our cities powerful more quickly. By using Olympian workers to develop and then possibly join less fortunate cities, we will be able to grow more quickly as a nation. And by helping to get Styx on board, you will be able to get back to the task of making Olympus the greatest city in the world!

Truth be told, right now beacuse of happiness Olympus will not be able to grow beyond size 4 anyway. However, we should still be able to toggle a Hoplite in 3 turns followed by a Worker in 2 and still keep your city between Sizes 3 and 4.

Please take some time to think about this. Since I am pressed for time, I may not be describing it properly. However, I truly feel that the great city of Olympus hold the key to all of our future glories. All you have to do is say the word.

I was just about to post, after the 5th settler, let Olympus become a worker factory! This will greatly increase the size of surrounding cities (providing more shields, and commerce).

I am still waiting to hear from the good governor of our capital, and hope that he takes our advice.

Governor Civlord, do you think it would be possible to lead this series with a Settler, so that we can settle our fifth and final domestic city? I would appreciate your thoughts on anything I have posted here.

Governor Civlord,

I would encourage you to consider building a temple between the settler for Priapos and our esteemed President's proposed horde of workers. Our citizens would be less likely to be disorderly with such a calming influence, and the cultural benefit of a temple will double sooner the sooner it is built. For that matter, I also suggest a library as soon as we have learned literature, as a means of increasing our scientific research and to further build culture.

OOC: In a 5CC and similar variant, we will want to max our population in every city, and build all the cultural buildings. With the land we hold, maxing the population will be pretty straightforward, even without the worker plan.

Hi, sorry for the unexpected one day absence. I am back!

So, Governor of Priapos Provolution had just a great idea. I would like to apply it to Olympus, and with the permission of the Chief Justice and sure that I am not violating any articles of the Constitution or any law, I would like to create a citizen registry for Olympus. The idea is simple: if you reside in the capitol, you can do some specific things you can't do if you don't reside in Olympus. Here it is:

Provolution said:

Participate in polls on buildqueues
Participate in poll in city elections
Name units produced in Olympus
Name landmarks in the region of Olympus
Get a home of residence in Olympus
Be invited to the Millenium Party the Golden city, with fish and wine
Represent the city in external negotiations with foreign powers and cities
Develop Olympus specific material - freedom of speech for Olympus internal issues
Take positions within Olympus
Be subject to Olympus Law

I have changed a bit from the original post, but this does not change the essential structure of this proposal. I hope the citizens accept it, and I hope anyone can register to become a resident of Olympus! Our beatiful capitol with wines, fish, palm trees and stuff like that. Thanks

Could anyone please post the screenshot of the city screen of Olympus? I must start pondering on what to do, as mr. DaveShack and President Donovan Zoi have already posted some proposals. I would be very glad to anyone who can do that.

I've read your proposals, and I agree there must be a balance between building culture and workers. Some unhappy and poor faces need attention, but the military police is already doing a great job for now. Olympus will be pumping out workers, and possibly, if former governor DaveShack didn't give that order previously, building a granary to increase growth (If he already built a granary there, then sorry). We must make the slaves (not necessarily "slave" workers) and pioneers of Fanatikos develop the terrain and then settle in the distant areas of our glorious nation. When they complete their job, we will build a temple to content the citizens because they will be adopting sedentary habits and no worker or settler will be built anymore, so population will increase. I will give attention to Science, and if our capitol is chosen to build th GL or any other wonder I will be realocating citizens to work in the rich mines nearby. If not, I will be building libraries and increasing science and commerce to the maximum level. This is going to be my general policy in Term II, and for now we need these people clearing forests and building irrigations. This will be the first step to make Olympus the center of this Fanatik Universe.
