Okay, I've launched two discussions. You can find them inside of the citizens forum, or you can find links to both in the first post of this thread.

Minister Strider,

The events of the past few hundred years have culminated in some significant opportunities for trade! Many of the civilizations will consider both up front gold and a steady tribute for years to come in exchange for our knowledge!

I'm looking forward to the options and suggestions from you!

I was just going to download the latest save to look at it all when I saw your message. Give me acouple of minutes, and I'll have all possible trades up (and my suggestions).

Okay, AD 30 trade discussion is here.

Okay, just as a warning. I'm reformatting my hard drive today. While I should be done and have everything up and running before tommorow, there is the possibility that something screws up. My deputy Admiral-Bell should take over if I don't make a response to this post by tommorow.

Deputy Minister admiral-bell,

I notice that you have posted instructions for the coming chat (hope there aren't too many problems Strider!), however you have ommited mention of trading Monarchy to Germany for their gold before we declare war in the hope of them revolting to anarchy.

Okay, I'm back and ready to go! Thanks for posting the instructions Admiral-Bell ;).

AD 150 Trade discussion is up! You can find it here.

Minister Strider,

Here is my review of Foreign Civs and my suggestions of trade relations:

Persia: As you may know, I plan to make Persia a useful ally of us. Therefore, I would like to keep them happy and wanted to keep the peace between our 2 nations. Try to make sure they don't dip below polite on the attitude scale. If they do, try to organize a trade with them for the TC after. Try not to piss them off

Rome: Rome is a civ I would like to see eliminated later this term, but for now, they are a powerful civ with a powerful army. Thus, don't piss them off at all, but don't go to great lengths to satisfy them.

France: France is next on my hit list and should be dead before term's end. If you want to trade with them go for it, but try not to give them any techs that allow new units. I want them weak with obsolete units when we invade their lands.

Germany: We are at war now, but things can change. don't give them techs that give units, and don't go to any lenghts to satisfy them.

290AD trades is up!! They can be found here

Minister Strider,

I note that your instructions for 290 AD do not include any mention of the Persian Silks deal. Please would you include this in your instructions as we do not want a repeat of when the last deal expired and 3 of our cites rioted.

I've already got it handled, I plan on making an edit to that post tommorow. If you look carefully, there's acouple other things I've left out also.

I like to post instructions, and then edit them as things go along. Then if I accidently forget to update right before the turnchat (or if something else pops up, that leaves me unable to update), there are still instructions for T&T.

Knowing how many times I've been hospitalized the pass couple of years, I figure this is the safest way to do things.

Minister Strider,

As a wise-man once said, the best laid plans often go astry. In this case, some research (Thanks, Furiey!) discovered that the Roman city supplying us with gems decided to change their alliegance to the Persian empire, taking our gems with them!

Apparently, this is causing some unrest in the streets, as citizens complain about the massive price increase of precious gems.

We certainly have the resources to provide entertainment and diversions for the people without too much of an impact, but could you ask your staff to research any trade options we might have?

Also, some of my staffers would like to know when you'll be posting the tech research poll.

Thanks!

I've posted a discussion over the current situtation, among other trades. You can find it here

I've also posted a discussion on what we should research after chivarly here

Minister Strider,

Could you update the first post so we know what tech we are researching and could you also post a screenshot of our current Science Advisor in the game? I don't post one in the Info Office, because i thought you would.

It's been done, I also added the research rate. (I got the Science Advisor to say exactly what I want when I snapped it to!)
