Okay, here's the 150BC trades (by civilization).

Persia
Trade Items:
34 gold
Silks (2) (no trade route, so we can't trade for them)

Possible Trades:
Any of our techs for 34g. (Yes.. it sucks)

Germany
Trade Items:
28 gold

Possible Trades:
Any of our techs [Code of Laws, Literature, or Currency] for 28 gold.

*Treaty Related:
Germany will give us a Right of Passage for one of our techs [Code of Laws, Literature, or Currency]
They will 'never' accept a Military Alliance against Rome or France (Persia isn't on the list, so I guess Germany and Persia hasn't met yet)

Rome
Trade Goods:
Incense (3)
Silks (0)
9 gold

Possible Trades:
We can give Rome wines for there incense

*Treaty Related:
Right of passage agreement for wines or any of our techs [Literature, The Republic, or Engineering]
They will 'never' accept a Military Alliance against Germany, Persia, or France.

France:
Trade Goods:
100 gold
2 workers

Possible Trades:
100 gold and 2 workers for either or our techs [The Republic or Engineering]

Possible Treaties:
They will give us a Right of Passage agreement for either of your techs [The Republic or Engineering]
They will 'never' accept a Military Alliance against Germany, Persia, or Rome.

*Note: This is mostly foreign affairs related and I have no power to authorize these "trades."

------------

The only trade I recommend we do is the Roman trade. There incense for our wines.

Getting some more luxuries looks good, we will be able to drop the lux slider and get in a bit more gold.

Looking at the other Civs, I notice that Persia has Philosophy but not Code of Laws, while Germany has COL but not Philosophy. They don't have much gold but sooner or later they'll swap techs. Perhaps we should sell Persia COL and Germany Philosophy for whatever they'll give so we get their gold.

It also looks like only the main Literature trade to France was done last session so all 3 of the other Civs do not yet have it. We need to keep a look out and sell them Literature before France does.

edit: We may have to hold off on the luxury trade until we either deal with the barb problem or connect up another source of Wines. At the moment, those Wines by Priapos are too vulnerable to pillaging by that enormous stack of Barb Horses and we would not want to ruin our reputation at this early stage by breaking the deal prematurely, or lose the use of the wines ourselves. If we connect another source we would still have a spare source if one is pillaged. We would then be able to trade that sources as well at a later date.

Furiey, I'll give instructions not to do the trade untill the barbarians are gone (and if our wines isn't pillaged).

I'd like to see the trade happen for their luxury (of course pending the Barbarians). We're talking about a +10 gpt increase immediately by lowering our lux. slider. Also, we'll be getting more buddy buddy with Rome, who will no doubt be a great ally should we see need to strike France in the coming millenia.

It doesn't seem as if Germany and Persia even know each other exist. The diplo screen shows them at a neutral state, which I'm assuming means that they haven't met. With a cut off continent, I don't believe they'll be meeting soon. Perhaps we can trade one to be on the safe side to Persia if we think that we should try to get to arrange for closer ties with them. As for Germany, let sleeping dogs lie in terms of Technology there.
