Importing map images?

I read somewhere that the maps in civ can be imported from a image? Was incorrect info... or? Cus the map editor is a night mare to use... you can't even just make a NEW map.. when you clear it.. the outlines are all still there.. its annoying.

That tool will be released during the next two weeks I believe, and yes it's an official Firaxis tool that was used for the creation of the scenarios.
