Term 4 - City of Olympus

And let's just ignore what was here as I was reading things wrong ...

With no instructions for your fair city, and as it has pretty much every improvement going, I focussed on producing Knights from Olympus which can be done in 4 turns.

I also moved 3 of the Workers from Styx once they had completed their task there to start on the unimproved tiles in your territory to allow both Olympus and Priapos to produce Knights in 4 turns.

Whilst producing the Knights, I also focussed on growth and the city is shortly to reach a full Granary at size 12 and can grow no further. It would perhaps be appropriate to produce a Worker after the Knight is completed as the city will grow very quickly back to size 12.

I hope this report is useful to you.

Thank you very much, Furiey.

I must truly apologize for my lack of instructions for Friday's session. On Thursday night, I had decided that the only way I was going to be able to meet all of my week's work deadlines would be to work straight through the night into my regular shift the next day.

While this decision allowed me to work an unprecedented 27 hours in a row (a feat only matched by my longest session of Civ2 :) ), it gave me no chance to even warn you about my absence from our most recent session.

I pledge to uphold my duties more responsibly in the future.

Respectfully,

Donovan Zoi
Governor of Olympus

Governor DZ,

I understand your frustration at the intrusion of work onto Civ, I myself have pulled similar work sessions, the last notable one being from Sunday morning to Tuesday morning without a break or sleep. I do try not to pull such sessions either in work or Civ come to that that as my effectiveness decreases notably, but I'm not very good at stopping at Civ and will do such stunts when necessary at work as well. I hope the situation eases so that the next time you pull an all nighter it can be Civ not work.

I hope that the progress for your city was satisfactory.

In sympathy and understanding

Furiey
