I want to start a game

I'm a newbie and the only reason I'm taking the initiative by wrighting this is cause I can't find any games that arn't in progress or lost interest. I'm currently regent but if anyone better or worse than that wants to play, you are welcome. I'm only going to keep this open for 5 days or until 4 people have joined than It'll be over so basically if it's december, this has expired if it is november I'm still lookin for players. I didn't post any conditions cause as I said, I am a newbie and I want to get input from people who will be playing. The way I understand it, playing on the internet means you have to play the whole thing in just one sitting so I would prefer to play PBEM. I might not do it right but I'm gonna make a poll for every condition of the multi player so yall can decide the specifics.

How many players? How many AI?

PBEM is good. I can play the latest patch of PTW or C3C. Any map size is good -whatever you like.

no one else has responded to this thread so I guess It will just be me and you. If I remember correctly you shot for a Sid victory and barely missed it so your probably much better at this than I am but that's ok. As Worf once said there is no shame in losing to a superior foe. Just tell me when you want to start and we can begin.Oh and I have C3C. I don't think I have the patch but I will download it.

OK, what size map, difficulty, victory conditions do you prefer? My requests are to have some AI's in there for fun, play on a tiny or small map, have culture, spaceship, UN, histo and conquest victory conditions, and that preserve random seed be set to on.

I am on C3C 1.22 patch or I could also play PTW 1.27 patch (though I prefer C3C).

One thing I know is that human players are way smarter than the AI. A lot of the tricks I use on the AI won't work on people.

My plan would be to play once a day, probaly in the evenings, maybe more but no guarantees. Let me know how often you want to play it.

Once we agree on all the game settings, I'll PM my email address and we can start right away.

Ok we have 3 people so far. I don't want to play a Large map cause that would be to many AI but small or standard are fine with me. Vote came out 70 and con so 70 and con it is.

NOw cans someone explain how we begin cause that remains a nagging problem spawned by my lack of no how. By the way, sry to both of you cause I was away for a while. I will regularly check this to make sure that that does not happen again.

Xerksees, you probably know the most about PBEM so that question was aimed at you. Thanks. Well tecknically it wasn't a question it was an imperitive sentece with a dependent clause attached.

Wait that was a question. Is it possible for someone to explain how to begin? So really, it was a question with a dependent clause and an incorrect puntuation mark at the end.

Just to let you know, I don't usually ramble like this. When I talk, I limit what I say but It is different to record your thoughts on a computer than it is in speech. IN this case, a very long speech.

Also, Incase youve not figured it out. Do to renewed intrest this game has not been terminated do to what I said in the thread starter.

Nevermind, decided that I'd rather Civ4 PBEM and not run two PBEMs at one time

Anyone still interested in this game? Post on my new thread. I just realized that the first post is sure to turn people away. Any new comers who join this or old people that havn't voted. Still use this poll because I don't want to make a new one and no one who is playing has voted so far as far as I know.
