all eotinb mods v1.0
by eotinb

Since I've written a couple of mods that alter the same Python files, I thought I'd combine them for those who want to use both and not deal with editing the files.

Readmes for the original separate mods included. Installation instructions are the same as in autolog readme.txt (reminder modifies all of the same Python files except one).

The threads for the separate mods are here (autolog) and here (reminder).

does this have city growth notification and the SG log thing? If so I'm definitely gonna use it. Thanks.

are you updating this mod with the new versions in autolog?

I'm waiting a bit because I've got some more changes for autolog in the works and there is a chance that I'll finish the notifications mod in time to add it.

I've been out of the loop for over a week traveling for the holidays, and as soon as I get back I'll be flying out for a job and won't have much time for anything until February. Sorry, but there's not much I can do about it.

If someone is interested, here there are my merged files to use together Eotinb's "autolog 1.2" and "Reminder 1.0" (1st zip) and these 2 mods with
12Monkeys's "Re-Intercept Bug Fix" too (2nd zip).
I've trieded them a bit and they seem to work fine, but I'm not a "py-expert" (I've only merged them using a text editor with the ability to compare and merge files), so I'm not able to give you any assistence if they don't work for you.

I've tried digging through all the pages of the two mods' threads, but wasn't able to find answers there. Forgive me if this is covered.

Every time I set an alarm for myself, or type in a custom note, I get a Debug event notice in the text area. It isn't a huge deal, but I'd like if I could get rid of it. Is there a way?

Hello there.

Since I have some trouble with ruff's cobbled mods I'm going thru them one by one. Yours is working with one minor fault:

When running [civ4] 1.61 vanilla everything is fine. When applying your combined mods (the *.zip in post #1) I don't get the pop-up - when having researched a new tech - anymore. If you could fix this ... or have a hint for me how to fix it myself (I have absolutely no knowledge about python ... err, actually programming ) ... that'd be great.

Thanks for the autolog :goodjob:.

Regards, .

EDIT:
It also stops ingame movies from being played, for example:
Spoiler :
Turn 12 (3280 BC)
Hinduism has spread: London

Turn 13 (3220 BC)
dot: In-game-movies don't work ... for example, when founding hinduism.
Research begun: Masonry
