Hi everyone,

I try to analyse AI xml files to know which thing do what

so i need your help with analysis on:

- which leaders declare war the more often
- which leaders build more wonders
- what are the number of bonus/malus in diplo for war/religion/civics etc...
- what leader values up religion
- what leader raze cities...
- what leader declare war when you ask them tribute/ when you refuse to give them tribute
- the increase of bonus/malus over time
- description (most precise if possible) of AI behaviour

the fact that you encouter a leader more than another is just random to me

I suspect that what diplo +/- tell us is not the real number (i met a base attitude factor which is higher for gandhi and worse for genghis... :) )

thanks by advance

well, a little, but i need more than that...

the fact that they are strong or not depend on a lot of things, what i'm looking for is some generic behaviour ans specific answers to my question

for the moment, i particulary note that:

Tokugawa is hard to get open borders
Isabella flavors religion above all
Gandhi and Musa are peacefull builders

XML\Civilizations\CIV4LeaderHeadInfos.xml has exactly what you are looking for. How likely a civ will build wonders and how they build overall is the most shrouded characteristic but it is in there, under "flavor" flags.

I am planning to convert that XML file into a set of tables and then summarize who the most extreme leaders are for each characteristic.

I'm looking forward to that. :)

too late...

why do you think i ask people what they think?
it's nice to have the biggest/tyniest value list, but it would be better to figure out what exactly they do...

I'll tell you what, give me an exact list of things you want me to keep track of in my games from now on. Here are a few I will include to begin with, add to this list (or remove anyone you find irrelevant):

Who builds what wonder.
Who declares war on who (proximity, borders etc).
Who discovers which religion.
How many cities a civ razes.
If someone declares immediatly after I refuse tribute.

how many unit they build before declaring war (very hard one)
bonus/malus in diplomacy

maybe some other later

Bismarck
Open Borders: +2
Wonders Built: 9
Favorite Civic: +3

Alexander
Wonders Built: 3
Religions Founded: Islam
Wars declared: 2, both on Washington. They were neighbours with long border.

Elizabeth
Open Borders: 2
Wonders Built: 3
Favorite Civic: +3

Peter
Wonders Built: 1

Mao Zedong
Open Borders: +2
Wonders Built: 3

Washington
Favorite Civic: +1
Open Borders: +2
Wonders Built: 2
Cities Razed: 1 (barb)

The open border bonus seems to be fixed. Bismarck appears to like building wonders and Alexander likes warring. Not much else you can get from that one.

And yes, I founded every religion except for Islam. I started on a remote island so I thought I'd go for a religion denial strategy.
