1. Are you happy with the current state of military?
Yes, I am. Each decision we've made leading to this state of readiness was the right one to make at the time. If, however, we had been told 30 turns ago that KISS would start hostilities on turn80, then obviously we would have made different choices. But given the state of our game over the turns, we have made the correct choices. To say otherwise is to fundamentally misunderstimate the skill of the players on our team.
2. Are you pushing for an Offense or Defence stance?
Defense. Hoplites. More value per shield for us than offense.
3. If tensions errupt into violence ... how will you react to it.
Beg for peace before any cities are lost. Failing that, eliminate their strike force.
4. What units (Hoplite, Warrior, Swords, Archer, Horseman or Catapult) will be minimum for comfort and where positioned.
This is a very tough one to answer. In broad strokes, I see a minimum of one hoplite in each frontier city, preferably two. Minimum two in each luxury city. Then move three swords to intercept a strike force, the intel having been provided by horses. We will also want to get a couple catapults up to the front line cities, but not if it delays the production of Hoplites.
5. Which cities require walls and barracks built ... what other changes in Domestic orders will you be championing?
All luxury towns must have walls first, then the other frontier towns. Then any towns not on a river that we don't plan on bring up to city size. As for barracks, we'll have to look at all our options, but I'd say we need 4 barracks to hammer KISS.
