Term 1 - Nominations for Secretary of War

The Secretary of War is a member of the Triumvirate. The Secretary of War shall have control of all military land units with the exception of garrisons under the control of Governors and units assigned to settlers, all air units, and in charge of military planning.

Please submit nominations for the Secretary of War in this thread and Accept or Decline any nominations you may receive. Self nominations are allowed. Citizens may only run for one elected position.

Nominations will close and elections open 00:00 GMT on the December 29 (that’s 7PM EST/6PM CST December 28).

Since I have just recived Civ4 and a new laptop. I am able to play Civ4 now :D.

I wish to self-nominate for this possition. Right now I cant write up my platform just yet since I am still busy moving my files from my old laptop to my new one :).
 
I UnitQ nominate myself as Secretary of war. I do so becouse of my intrest in war and war technology. I also have played alot of war games doring my life and I am very aware of the sneakyness of the AI's and there governmant. As Secretary of war I will devote my time to here all stragities from all sides and make sure my stragities for fighting are well planed and well orginized to make sure its sucsess on the battlefeild.

Please people nominate me for your Secretary of War and ill make sure are civ last through the ages.

CG - I would suggest playing it for a month to get used to the military aspects before digging into such a position. :)


Anyway, I'll nominate myself and accept. I've played a bunch of MP games during the beta, and know about the mixture of units. I've also played at prince through deity levels. In fact, playing against a certain tester (NDA forbids mentioning who, but you could probably guess...) is like playing on "Extremely Catastrophic Nightmare".).
 
Ill decline my possition, as chieftess said that I am too much of a newbie for Civ4 :(.
 
I'd like to nominate myself and accept, such a nomination as well.
I play at Monarch right now, consider myself a decent warmonger and opportunist and feel I have a good grip of the diplomacy system.

Under me, I can assure the people that we will fight wars of opportunity, wars of expansion and will defend our lands. No civilization will take that which is truely ours.

I'll think about it, cant remember whethere i was anything to do with military. bit snazzy that we get a PM nowadays, whatever happened to us actually having to look through the threads? ;)

i am going to decline my posistion, in my single player games while i am a warmongerer im not very tactical about it, therefore for the benefit of the demogame im going to stay far away from this area :)
