How fast (or slow) do we want game progression to be?

• Quick
• Normal
• Epic
• Marathon

We haven't had much advance discussion on this question, if you feel like putting in your 2 gold, by all means please do. As the poll starter I'm supposed to stay unbiased, at least in the first post.

We'll go with cumulative voting on this one.

For me the choice is between normal and epic. Marathon is really too new to be a reasonable choice, and quick seems to distort the balance between building, tech, and war too much for a demogame environment.

I'm going to hold off a bit and see what comments for / against epic might come in.

I voted for epic. I think we'll get the most out of experience here by making it a longer game, especially since it allows us a little more time to review our decisions.

It's more epic than epic. It's included in the 1.52 patch.

I think I saw somewhere that Marathon lasts something like 1000 turns.
