Term 1 - Runoff Election for Secretary of War

In light of recent unfortunate events, we must move to a runoff vote between Chieftess and Donovan Zoi, both of whom tied according to corrected results for the Term 1 elections. Relevant information may be found here.

This poll is between those two candidates, and will be open for four days. Information and debates between the two candidates may be found in the original Nomination Thread and Election Thread.

As a reminder (summary thanks to Alphawolf): The Secretary of War is a member of the Triumvirate. The Secretary of War shall have control of all military land units with the exception of garrisons under the control of Governors and units assigned to settlers, all air units, and in charge of military planning.

My apoligies, by the way, for posting this in the polls subforum. For some reason, I am unable to create a poll in the main forum.

I also do this under my authority as Term 1 Censor - this isn't a justified legal position taken by the court, but it would seem that the previous term's censor should cease his duties as a new term begins, and that runoff elections (which aren't well defined in the CoL, by the way) should be handled by the new Censor.

I'm a citizen too, for sure, and I can't vote either.

It seems the move to the main forum has prevented us citizens from voting. Are you sure the group permissions for us are set correctly? Now this poll is screwed up...I suggest you move it back to the polls forum (with a notice in the main forum) so we can actually vote.

It looks like the Main Forum is not set up for usergroup polls; is that a correct assumpton? If so, I would really have no problem with us keeping the poll here for the duration. :mischief:

@All: This Election-poll belongs in the Main Forum, not the Poll-section. Moving it there is not right, at the moment.
Thunderfall has been informed that you can't vote. He'll look into it. He'll either solve it so that people can vote here, or we'll move this poll to the Poll-section after all.

If some of you are still having trouble voting then you need to do the following:

1. Click on User CP on the horizontal menu above. That will take you to your personal Control Panel.

2. Once there, go almost all the way down to the bottom of the vertical menu on the left-hand side. Click on Group Membership.

3. Once there, you should have the option to join the 4 Democrazy Game. Click the button fo Join Group. (NOTE: If the button for the DG states "Leave Group" then you are already an accepted member and should be able to vote here).

4. Wait for your membership to be processed by our moderators. You will be able to vote here once approved.

A brand new poll would be most fair, but I don't think people want to vote for a third time. A couple hour extension to compensate would be best.
