A Tool To Edit 'CIV4BonusInfos.xml' In Your MOD

This is an .xls file that generate the file 'CIV4BonusInfos.xml'.

I had to edit 'CIV4BonusInfos.xml' a lot of time to adjust my settings ,and if you have the same problem,this is the solution.

In the cell(1,1) of the excel page , enter the path to reach 'CIV4BonusInfos.xml'.
(ex:'D:\Civ4\Mods\Name\Assets\XML\Terrain\')

then change the values as you want and execute the macro ..

This is a great idea. I've been modifying that file by hand, and this will be very useful.
Problem is that I've been having trouble figuring out exactly how the file works. Could you write a quick tutorial on what variables do what?

I don't understand all the values .Some are easy to understand ,and for the others ,i test ,and i test .....and i test .but there was two many unkown and the settings i've done are poor.(that's why i made this script !)

I searched for the description of the variables but i did not find it!

If someone could help us !!!!!!

This is awesome. But it doesn't look to be able to change things in the Drama/Music/Movies categories.

Any chance of getting a similiar spreadhseet for the unit file? :)
 
Sorry ,but I weren't working on the Drama bonus ! So I didn't generate them .But you can change the macro to edit them (and more!) .

I am not working on units . So i don't want to make the editor (it take a lot of time !) .But ,even if you have never worked on excel ,you can create it having an example !

If one day ,i begin to work on a mod ,i will certainly do it but not yet !!!

I went ahead and added in the Drama bonus, you are right it not that hard since I have your excellent example. I can see what it will take to do the unit file. It would be a ton of work.
