We briefly chatting to Peter Grimes, our current khaki minister about combat calculators.

I just found this ...

Civ III Combat Calculator

and

town capture simulator

Don't know if legal to use ... I assume they are ... hope thay are of some use.

:nono: You are much more than just a simple lurker Oh Great Meleet :worship: you are the Divine Creator ;)

Note ... just in case our new players are unaware ... Rik Meleet, as well as being the moderator, also designed the world we find ourselves playing on :salute: ... and therefore peers though the fish bowl to see our zany and crazy antics :p

Thanks Fe! I won't be able to run either at home, but they should work on the work Compy.

One other thing - No one should listen to Feaurius when he starts speaking in tongues about Rik... He refuses to acknowledge that, though Rik made us this generous and balanced map, it is the RNG that controls the fates of everything from our battles to our goody huts.

Great news! These both work great on my work compy. I did a preliminary test to see what would happen if a GS attacked a town with a single fortified Hoplite. The computer ran 1.25 million trials, and the attacker only won 380k times.

That's only 30.xx percent. I can't see the xx's because it's off the screen, and i can't seem to resize the window.
