This fills in the ranks of Pharoah's army....standing alongside Kinboat's veterans. I hope everyone enjoys using this guy as much as I did making him...;)

My buddy Vuldacon was kind enough to make a few adjustments to the attack, and a few improvements to the civilipedia icons as well. Get the new files and see the new preview below!

My suggestion is to try and make him run holding the gun with both hands. And fortify is really strange, so is the default. But the attack is your best animation ever, I think, and I really, really like it! :) Some smoke would be nice tho, but not really neccesary.

I agree, fortify's a little odd, but if you have issues adding smoke to the attack, at least the attack sound is quite good. The run would look better maybe with the gun held in both hands, but it's still quite good right now.
 
Huh, cool concept! Never would have thought to do that myself. I think I'll use it. I h'aint got much for my Egypt civ in the 17th century or thereabouts. This would be fun. Thanks for the unit!
 
Sword...This unit is much better. :)

Recommendations:
Default Flc - Slow to 170 so movement is less.
Run Flc - try 56 speed to help remove the floating "slow motion" effect and always check each frame to make sure all are at Floor level.
Fortify Flc _ Remake this Flc so it starts with the Default and ends with either the 1st frame of the Attack or at least a frame that would come just before the 1st frame of the Attack so it makes a correct transition.
Death Flc - Eliminate the Backward slide of the Egyptian as he falls and keep the Rifle and the Egyptian from going beneath the Floor Level.
Attack Flc - Much better but would still like to see the Recoil move a little less upward. You can use fewer frames for the Recoil so it takes place more rapidly. Use a Flash and or Smoke with the Rifle firing in the Attack.

...here are two Civ Specific units_32 files. One is made from your units_32 and one from your Default Flc so there is a choice if you want either of them:
