Do Greek cities where you are from look that way Vawnos?
Not really; some traditional small towns, or smallish (up to 150.000 people) like Corfu and Nauplion look medieval, however most of the big cities have been ruined in part from modern concrete poor architecture. Thessalonike (where i live) looks ok in the center. However it is a big city of over 1 million people, and some of the surrounding parts are not that interesting. Here is a pic of the center
