Your instructions are simple - remove the vile French from our soil. If they won't willingly board ships and leave, toss them in the ocean. If they swim back, kill them and burn their bodies.

In the meantime, eliminate any cities founded on our continent by a civ that we are at war with.

As usual, use Elite's when deemed appropriate to work towards a new MGL.

Berlin:
Build queue:
military (I think some artillery would be good somewhere)

Micromanagement:
turn 0: switch mined grass to plain

Worker actions:
Priorities: mine one irrigated tile when it gets to size 20 if you feel like it

Besancon:
Build queue:
military

Worker actions:
Priorities: mine up to two tiles if you feel like it

Rome:
Build queue:
police station->army->military

Micromanagement:
turn 0: switch SSW mountain (always leave that mountain for Istakhr) to different mountain

Worker actions:
Priorities: irrigate wheat, you could join workers if you want

Istakhr:
Build queue:
courthouse->market->university

Micromanagement:
This assumes signing peace with Rome and therefore the loss of WLTKD on turn 5; see below if WLTKD continues
turn 0: switch mountain, 2 FPs to fur, 2 irrigated plains (11f, 7s, 10fpt, 7spt)
turn 1: new citizen should be working mountain
switch plain to floodplain (0f, 17s, 10fpt, 9spt)
turn 5: new citizen should be working mountain
switch plain to mined plain (0f, 56s, 6fpt, 12spt)
turn 7: courthouse->market (12f, 0s, 6fpt, 14spt)
turn 9: switch mined plain to irrigated plain (24f, 28s, 8fpt, 12spt)
turn 11: switch new citizen from mined plain to floodplain (0f, 54s, 11fpt, 12spt)
turn 14: market->university
the people love you (although they may not make this known until the next turn)
switch floodplain to mined plain (33f, 0s, 7fpt, 16spt)
turn 15: new citizen should be working mined plain
switch irrigated plain to floodplain
switch mountain to floodplain (0f, 19s, 13fpt, 15spt)
turn 17: switch mountain to mined plain (26f, 49s, 14fpt, 14spt)
If WLTKD continued:
Spoiler :
turn 5: switch plain to floodplain (0f, 56s, 10fpt, 12spt)
turn 7: courthouse->market (20f, 0s, 10fpt, 13spt)
turn 9: new citizen should be working mined plain (0f, 39s, 9fpt, 16spt)
turn 12: switch mined plain to floodplain (27f, 87s, 13fpt, 13spt)
turn 13: market->university
new citizen should be working mined plain
switch mountain to mined plain (0f, 0s, 13fpt, 15spt)
turn 15: switch mountain to mined plain (26f, 30s, 14fpt, 14spt)

Worker actions:
Have 2NW plain mined by turn 5; have forest chopped (and quickly mined and railroaded) from turn 7 to turn 13, have irrigated plain mined by turn 17
If WLTKD continued:
Spoiler :
chop, mine, railroad forest on turn 7 to 11 (if at any other time, change MM), mine 2NW plain by turn 13, mine irrigated plain by turn 15

Priorities: mine (don't need to immediately mine what's already irrigated) plains, mine deserts, chop , mine, railroad forest; you could join workers if you wanted (of course that would completely nullify my micromanage, but would be useful; in that case, you could mine more irrigated tiles)

The micromanagement may be altered based on worker actions or pollution.

Build queue:
Wall Street->military

Micromanagement:
turn 0: put taxman on hill
switching taxman to policeman or mining a tile would get to 80spt

Worker actions:
Mine tile if you feel like it

The micromanagement may be altered based on worker actions or pollution.

The French should fall in only a few turns. Please stop the chat if we get to the stage where we are ready to move in on the other continent as the sooner we are able to cut the Japanese down to size the better.

Luxury:
Use the slider or specialists, whichever is most cost and production effective to keep our cities from rioting. .

Science:

Increase Science to give Refining in 3, then check what can be sustained for the next tech following the general principles below.

General: Keep science high to achieve the techs in the minimum number of turns use deficit spending if we can afford it. A temporary small negative gpt is allowed as long as we have sufficient funds. Always check over the last few turns and reduce the science rate if it is possible to do so.

In case of emergency it is allowable to reduce science slightly to gain some additional gold necessary.
Do not let our treasury run dry!

Treasury Spending:
Upgrades of the last Cannon to Artillery to be given preference (there’s a Roman one that’s been missed) then the upgrade of further troops as requested by the Defence Minister, any necessary spending should allow us to keep a cushion of at least 500 gold to be used in emergencies.

Wonders:
Build Wall Street in The Augean Stables.

Great Leaders:
Next Military Leader: We can build an army ourselves as soon as the Military Academy is complete, so use to rush an improvement in Istkahr, eg: a Factory.

Scientific Leader: Please save for the modern age wonders.

Colonies:
Please use non-German or French slaves to build colonies if we need to.

Workers:
Natives and German Slaves may be joined to cities if they can be freed from railing tasks, please adjusts any stacks for efficient railing/improving as necessary.

Preferably rail in 1 turn rather than eg: split the stacks and rail 2 tiles in 2 turns. It is more efficient and allows the Workers to be moved after 1 turn if they are threatened without wasting their efforts. The DP may use Workers to road/rail to the front lines as needed by Minister of Defence or as necessary, just make sure the Workers are left in a safe position or adequately protected.

The Minister of Defence is able to use the Workers to prevent settling or on blockade duty, the DP should balance this requirement against the railing that is required. Watch the French settler pair near the southern Saltpetre colony. The DP should also use Slaves rather than native Workers for blockade duty and have the workers roading/railing or do something rather than just fortify whilst they are blockading. Do not put the workers where they could be captured, use troops for those positions.

Keep our Workers safe, but that shouldn’t mean hiding in cities!

Quick summary:

OMGWTFHTTF?!?!

The Great Wall of Fear is being built, and it quite impressive. I encourage all futher DP's to use this to entertain themselves as they see fit. The Babylons are also gone (due to the Japanese smackin' em' around). We have researched up to Combustion. Our military is mighty, and our economy is strong. Japan should be quaking in their boots as we near Tanks.

Rik,

Olympus:
We're at 20-odd Cavalry with no need for any more. We have defeated everyone on this continent, and blocked off nearly every access point. The cash from wealth increased our research rate, and gives us a nice cushion for rushes and upgrades.

Priapos:
Frigates are officially obsolete. We just researched Combustion, so Destroyers , Cruisers and Transports are now the current wave. Frigates cannot be upgraded, and are essentially ineffective against current troops. Indeed, Frigate on Frigate is nearly a coin-flip.

Galleons are also now obsolete. We also have 10 right now, so after we upgrade to Transports that's 60 troops - far more than we would transport over.

In short, we did not, and do not, have any need for more Cavalry, Frigates or Galleons.
