Well, I've finally got around to finalizing the info and stuff for the FF I civs, bringing the completion of this mod within sight (I only need to replace 3-4 more civs and I'm done with the factions... all I'll need after that is to finalize the Modern Age Tech tree and round out everone's UU lines and I'll be ready to make this sucker public). Since the original Final Fantasy game was rather lacking in a number of ways, I decided to base the civs from that game off of Brian Clevenger's excellent web comic, 8-Bit Theater. Brian was nice enough to give me the go-ahead to use his concepts in this mod. 
Thief is the Prince of Elfheim, and (due to some sneaky legal maneuvering) leader of the light warriors. He's such an accomplished thief that he's actually stolen things that don't really exist....

The skinny on the Light Warriors:
Leader: Prince Thief
Fav Gov: Corporate Rep
Shun Gov: Communism (because it goes against everything thief believes in)
Aggro: 4/5 (Thief isn't afraid to call in his Law Ninjas to enforce contracts....)
Traits: Militaristic, Commercian (as if any civ with Thief leading it could be anything BUT....), Religious
Starting Techs: Warrior Code, Wood Working, Shamanism (a.k.a. Warrior Code, Alphabet and Ceremonial Burial)
