Economy:
Is numerical, meaning that you have that many spending points to use (cant bank). To grow economy, spend all of your spending points that same turn. (If you have trade centers, that income doesnt need to be spent to grow economy)
Trade centers provide between 1 to 5 spending points per turn. But are rare and few.
Everytime you grow your economy, a city will appear on the map. If the city is captured, you wont gat their income until the war is over or you get it back. You cant take the income of a conquered city unless u get it under peace terms. (or you can just burn it to the ground and pillage it, getting 3 spending points) but the city wont re-apear after peace is signed.
in simple terms : each city represents a spending point of your economy!.
(capitals also only provide one point per turn, but have greater effects)
also, this means u cant give full economylevels away, just spending points (unless you are giving a city and land away)
Military
This is numbered. Youll get 5 divisions/squardons for each income point you spend.
Leadership:
Good leadership in civic area means better hard working citizens (from which good things will come from) and in the military, better generals.
Grow a stat by using a spending point.

Confidence
This is how much them folks like your rule. Pretty self explanatory: if they like what youre doing, it will be good, if not, then bad. However, you cannot increase this via Income points. Stories can help.

Horrible, Pathetic, Bad, Poor, Average, Decent, Good, Excellent, Fantastic
Culture
This is your nations cultural influence on other nations, and it affects how quickly your religion will spread and how much people will accept your rule. Stories help, Income points do not.

Horrible, Pathetic, Bad, Poor, Average, Decent, Good, Excellent, Fantastic
Projects
The main things youll want to do with these is increase Culture, Confidence, or just plain build something. They wont have some magical spawning generator that gets you dozens more men, or something like that. They wont have a tangible effect, but will instead display your culture and thus make it seem more impressive, or make people more faithful to you.
Or this could be used as a long term project to improve your nations standard of living, or a new, deadly military technology (generally only in the late game).
Projects do not cost a fixed number of economy points but will be more effective if more economies are invested into them. This, however, is largely the discretion of the moderator.
