Chronicles VIII: Dawn of the Philosopher Kings

That was sweet! What a great start to an epic. Very novel of bringing a guy from the future back to 4000 BC to start a Civ. Is the worked tile to the SE of Claudia the village where Timareta lives?

This story is amazing, and shows great potential. If I can, I would like to contact you to talk about maybe you doing a story for something I'm planning, any way to do that?

I'm flattered, but I really don't know how much time I'd have to spare for anything else. As a matter of fact, I've been having second thoughts about this story as it is. I really think I might have bitten off more than I can chew.

What did you have in mind?

Oh, I guess I should make a couple of notes:

One, I am paying no attention to the game year. If I was, my characters would already be three hundred years old.

Also, as you can tell, I have to run the game on low graphics, so sorry about the crappy screenshots.

This is really good, Helming. I think that Ektor's son will be the father of the barbarians in time. His wife was a nag... good riddance. I await tomorrow's installment.

Another great story(though that should come as no great surprise).
I do hope you finish it.

Don't give up hope! This story is amazing! I can't wait to read more! I wonder how the city has grown in Ektor's 300-year trip. I will be keeping with this story.

Ah, shucks...you shouldn't have.

But frankly, you guys better keep the encouragement coming, because I'm seriously tempted not to follow through.

Let's just say that if I do this how I'd planned, this is going to be a frickin' novel.

On the upside, though, it's very easy to write, so we'll see...

Hmmm, what am I going to do about that calendar? Let's just pretend it's not there and I'll just advance the clock as I see fit.

But you are right in predicting where we're going next...and thanks for the positive feedback.

This is quite a good story

Helming, you've gotta keep writing. This is what I read for my first 15 minutes of work each morning. It helps me drive an hour in the morining knowing that you've got me a couple of new posts to read. Clock? I see no clock. ;)

So, I think you said that you did, but do you have this game 100% played already?

EDIT: (and welcome to page 2)

Yeah, I know how it's going to end.

I whole-heartedly agree. It takes me over 30 min's to get to work and, like Fetch, I spend the first 15 min's here reading your stories. You have a real gift for story telling and I eagerly await your first novel. :D
So please continue this story...I'm already emotionally vested in the characters :goodjob:
