That was the first model I worked on but couldn't finish it. Finally with the experiance from other models I was able to. I'm not 100% happy with it but I think it's good enough. Anyway I better leave planes to Rabbit, White. ;)

It's a great model sharick, just make the texture a bit brighter. And please don't leave planes to me :) if I make another model it's probably going to be something different.

Hmm, you went with the politically correct Vertical Stabilizer emblem?

Any chance of doing a version with more historically correct emblems & markings?

It could be a tad brighter, but works for a grim WW2 mood!

The emblem is historically correct (to small to see) but I left out some markings because I wanted to use them for teamcolor and I don't know how to do it yet. You can see for yourself - download max plugin and run SceneViewer.exe (BoundShape.nif file must be where the model is).

No new models for now. I'm tweaking the last ones. They will be loadable as a mod and will have separate .dds textures for anyone who want to change it. I also managed to to import a unique animation sequance to the game but it plays only once when the unit is created. This plugin is not 100% complete.

When is SDK coming out???????

Okay, I had to zoom in quite a bit, but you do have the swastika on the vertical stabilizer, which is correct.

One thing you could do for Team Coloring:
German Fighters at different periods had bands along the rear of the fuselage.

The bands signify different purposes, like dedicated Reich air defense units. For the Germans in Civ IV, a yellow band, IMO, would suit nicely.

Thanks for tip but I don't know how to solve it yet. If the model will be used in WW2 mod than it should have all the german markings of the period and no teamcolor because it'll be buildable by Germany only. If somebody wants to use it in different way I should remove all the german stuff and just add place for teamcolor.
Suggestions?

As for now I leave it as it is. Textures are separate now so feel free to change whatever you want.
 
the 262... well thers actuly three types 2 jap and 1 german if you gonna make it you shouldat least in clude the fire dragon and kika
