Ok, so a lot of people are tired of threads about the US. Sorry I'm making one.

With all of the US bashing that constantly happens on internet forums, I'm curious about if people actually like the US. My question is very simplistic; I'm not asking a question with lots of details.

So I'll start: I'm an American and I like the US.

I am neutral. Some things I like, some I don't like.

If you mean if I have an US flag and I worship your president, then no.

I cannot say if I like all the people, as I hardly know any. I like the sound of some of the places, but not others. I like some of the policies, but not others. Overall, I cannot say I like or dislike America as a whole, it is too large to judge. But there are definately places I like more :).

i voted "im american and I like the US" but I could have just as easily voted "im not American and I like the US"

However, that doesn't mean I am blind to our faults.

there are certain things about the US i don't like, like our president, but i wouldn't want to live anywhere esle. sure we are doing some things wrong, but as of right now we're doing a lot more right.

I'm not American and I like some things and dislike others.

Intrestingly enough though, alot of the Americans I do like are the ones who are disenchanted with America....

America could get better but it is by far one of the best countries on earth currently.

Im American and I love the US

I am not american and I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the US. How can't I? If it wasn't thanks to the US, we'll lose half the movies and songs !!

There's much about this country I do like. There's some I don't. For me, the good outweighs the bad, so I voted "I like the US". And as I'm sure you all know, I am American.

I'm not an American, but I like America, except for some things such as politics. Everythings fine for me. So fine that I'd live there if I could.

I find that the more informed a non-American is about the USA, the less they hate it.

The non-Americans that dislike the USA are the young pseudopolitical idiots who haven't a clue about how the people here really are. Basically they are the equally idiotic opposite of the ultra-conservative American that worships the word of The O'Reily Factor almost as much as he worships the word of the Bible.

I'm a Non-American, and I like the US. Spent a considerable amount of time down there, great and wonderful people on the whole.

Very true, the USA as seen through the Hollywood lens doesn't even come close to representing America as I have experienced first hand.

Though keep in mind that this sort of ignorance/hate relationship is true with regard to just about any nation or culture.
