Chronicles IX: Reign of the Philosopher Kings

I eagerly await the next tale. I actually enjoyed how you refered to yourself in third person, but I realize that can get annoying.

Excellent writing in all of the chronicles that I've been able to find. This even goes beyond Vanadorn's Pax Romana, its amazing how much you are able to get out of some of the smallest details.

Well, thank you. This is really what makes the game so compelling to me, that each game generates its own elaborate story in my head. I'm always thinking about what the events in the game would mean for the people in the different civs--you know, if they were real...because I do know they're not real. At least, that's what the therapists keep telling me to say.

real or not real I find myself very involved in thier lives, You pass the generations effortlessly and your focus on the charecters makes it a story not a discription of events in the game. I dunno if its just that I am a civ addict or the story is really that good, but either way I check in every day to see if a new addition has been made by you.

Oh, the screenshot posted is from the trip out--as you can see from the date. I figure the progress of naval units represents successive waves of small ships back and forth so that's what happens in the story. But obviously I didn't really bring back my caravel unit, so I have no screenshot of the island from 1155 AD.

Just a continuity note...and now I'm off to more pressing concerns: doing the laundry.

Holy crap this is good!

Ok, now I think you people are just being sarcastic and teasing me...

But I'll continue nonetheless.

while I believe in positive encouragement I don't care enough to blow smoke up your butt unless I actually mean what I am saying. Its a great story man it really is. but if you want I could insult ya.

haha, that last screenshot:
Elijah and Claudia, 100% Platonic...

The great work of your last story has continued into this one! It is a much cleaner story when you follow one character, and now we do not have to ignore the calander! I hope to hear more from you soon. (I know I will)

Of course, the problem is that when we follow the calendar, not much actually happens inside one human lifespan. So now it's farewell to Kujimo...

Thats actually something I really like about the story... every passage has a new hero to follow with the same background. Its pretty damn cool.

Helming, love the story man, can't wait to see what happens later on... i sense a world war;)
