Is the Oracle broken in MP?

I seem to recall reading that there might be a problem with getting the free tech but be darned if I can find any info on it. I'm in an 8 person simultaneous PitBoss game and just built the Oracle. However, it doesn't appear that I got the freebie. Can anyone enlighten me as to what might be going on? I got it in another similar game but happened to be logged into the server at the time.

I read it in the PitBoss sticky thread , have to do a search there.
I recall the solution was somehow to end your turn last , this way you get the free tech (same with Liberalism)

IIRC there is a bug with The Oracle and Liberalism in Pitboss. This does not affect normal multiplayer games.

Yes, there is a bug. If you are not ONLINE and connected when the turn cycles to the turn when you get the Oracle/Liberalism, then you won't get your free tech. So you have to be online when the turn before ends.

This was indeed the case. Thanks for the help guys! Fortunately the rest of the players were kind enough to roll back a turn so I could get my freebie. :goodjob:
