Well I thought it was about time I made something new, so I searched google and came up with this. Thought it might come in use to someone. It's basically like a Picture of Planet Earth with a white background.

Map Making
Naviagation
Magnetism (the Poles)
Ecology. I like it...I'm gonna use it for something.

Sadly, tested it in game and it didn't work. Realised that I somehow forgot to change it to 256 colours, then tested it and this time all the white parts where purple. I don't really know how to change that so if someone knows?

The last 2 colors in the palette are always transparent. Index the image to 254 colors and then add 2 colors that don't appear in the image. 00FF00 and FF00FF are the standard colors used, but anything will work.

btw William, your sig is twice the allowed size (5 lines)

Thanks, fixed it on my version. Going into my Mod now. If anyone else wants to use this Tech then I guess they have to fix it themselves too, unless someone else posts a new version, because I can't be bothered.

Hey, I actually have a use for this as the Planet Studies tech in the modern era of the Final Fantasy Mod (among other things, it allows construction of the White Materia SW that has a 75% chance of intercepting Meteors (ICBMS) and the Wrath of Gaia SW that generates a Treant every 5 turns....)
