I've been everywhere, man
So I stopped making units yesterday for a while to try out the excellent WW2 mod that Paasky has been working so hard on (as well as many others). The main thing I noticed was a lack of different tanks in it(so many shermans!). Therefore, when I finished up the T84 this afternoon I decided to make a new one for the mod before I went to bed.

Here it is:

Info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IS-2
Poly: ~750

It is fully animated and uses the stock tank animations (please point to the tank.kfm file in your XML).
[NOTE: The texture came from CMMD]

Enjoy!

Wow, it looks great. :goodjob:

Now I know you can't do anything about it but it would be cool if there was a way to change the number designation on the side of the tank dynamically...

another one so quick! you'll soon be beating nautil ;) keep the ground units coming mate :goodjob:

Yes, this one is superb ! and your choise is right, this was great tank, btw it is called after Stalin (Iosif Stalin)
One tiny remark, you said that the units is fully animated, though it is not exactly so, for complete animation you need 3 differnet meshes ( turret, chassis, cannon) attached to corresponding nods, then you'll see pumping cannon, fortification animation with barrel lifted, rotating turret and proper death animation. Check one of my tanks for reference if you need.

This unit IS FULLY ANIMATED. All three of those 3 things you mentioned exist and move during the animation. You don't see much of a 'pumping cannon' because the traverse of the gun isn't that great (and due to scale), though it DOES move. Also, for the record, fully animated (at least to me) just means there's an animation for run, attack, fortify, default, and death.
