Explain your "Username"

So lots of people with lots of funny names if you ask me.

YES i know this thread has been done- but time for a new one i think.. for the newer members an All.

I jut dont get people who add random numbers to the end, i want my username to be an actual name (Note i want to change my current one!)

So, slozenger... why?

My real life name is Louis... so knickname at school was Loz. Needed something longer for email adress--> slozenger@aol.com
When i first joined here, i didnt consider OT and talking much, i just wanted to download some mods, and get help installing them (way back in '02)
but now im stuck with slozenger unless Thunderfall helps me.

Its such a rubbish name, everyone shortens it to sloz.. but of course in my mind it should be Loz.. oh well... come on TF!
 
I could tell you why I have my username, but then I would have to kill you.

It's actually really stupid how it came about, so I probably won't explain it, yet...
 
Easy, I needed a username for a forum (it may actually have been this one, given my join date) and I asked my flatmate. He immediately said Kan' Sharuminar for no particular reason.

Which is why I have a name that no-one can be bothered spelling beyond 'Kan' ;)
 
I chose the name because I had normally just planned on lurking, but eventually, I couldn't handle not posting. Though I do like my name. :D
 
Mine is the nickname that nobody else but me uses on the internet

All websites I went to I was able to get it.:)
 
When I first joined, all my computer games' multiplayer accounts were named Dreadnought, so I continued the trend. Now the accounts are Rotten Roman, but I am not going to change my name to that here because I am too well known as Dreadnought
 
You need a suitable avvie though.. some fat cat with commie insignia!

Funnily enough, that's exactly what I thought was going through your head at the time of name picking. Or the more obvious play on Mao, but that's not as much fun.
 
You know what? I've made up so many ways to get this name, I've forgotten how I really got it.

Right now I'm sticking to one of my more original stories, that it's an acronym for Living Legend Xylophone Extrodenaire, Ruined Extremist Enterprise System

My name is a combination between 2 uu's in Civ 3
 
SuperBeaverInc. was really just something random I came up with when deciding what to call myself.

That was Gogf. If you play Civ, Xerxes will be easy to remember.
