Ive been around on this site for awhile and never really post anything, but i just started a regent game as carthage and im off to a good start(i think). I want to post some pics and a save file so I can get adivce and comments. So my question is how do u take screenshots. And then how do u post them as well as save files. i think ive seen instructions somewhere, but im too lazy to search for them. Thanks for any help you guys give me.

To save an image, just open MS Paint before you load Civ3, press "PrintScrn" (near F12) in game, and then hit Alt + Tab to open Paint. Save it as a .jpg. Then, follow the steps here to upload.

I Hit my "print screen" key.
Then toggle to "paint" program and paste it in.
Adjust the picture in "attributes" to 800x600 and save as a jpeg.
Move the pic to your desktop

Go down to "upload file" at the bottom of this page.
Hit browse (imageshack) copy the bottom image link (with the jpg at the end)
and paste it here....
surrond the link with img tags like this

Voila'!

xpost GA :D

OK this is how u take screenshots.

1). Start up Civ, load your game, and get to the desired screen, etc.
2). Press the Prt Scrn button. This copies it. Then go to paint or something else and paste it the normal way.
3). I save the picture as something obvious, then upload it to an image hoster (Like Image shack or photobucket), and copy the URL.
4). Start a new thread or something like that. There will be a little mountain button by all the other button stuff. Click on it. Then paste url. Put a caption in and VOILA! you've done it.

Saved files.
1). Reply to a post or start a new thread. If you reply to a post, make sure you click Go Advanced.
2). If you scroll down below the text box you will find a box labeled Additional Options. Scroll down a little bit more and you'll find the manage attachments button.
3). Click on it.
4). After the menu thing pops up, click on the browse button. Go through your computer and find the saved file. For me I click on My Computer->C:\->Program Files->Infogrames->Civilization III->Conquests->Saves->(Then select that save you want to upload).

Did it work?

Edit: AHH!! You guys all beat me :(

Download Irfanview (free), then you can capture screens anytime. It can resize them to 800 and change them to jpegs.
