Hey everyone!

I'll be interviewing Simon Bradbury (Firefly Lead Designer) on the upcoming title CivCity: Rome (developed together with Firaxis) soon. The interview will be available on Planet Civilization. Now, for that interview I'd like to include questions from the community, see what you guys are interested in or worried about.

Here's roughly what I intend to cover so far:
- Comparison to Caesar IV?
- How much Sid Meier's Civilization is in the game?
- More on the cooperation with Firaxis...
- Will there be multiplayer support?
- What are the system requirements?

So... shoot away with your questions!

Is there going to be some sort of first-person mode?

What kinds of units/people will be included in this game?

Can I build wonders?

Ok how similar is it to Ceaser III since i played that game.

And do you still build a military like in the civ games?

My three q's!

1. How much of the game will be city management and how much will be empire management?
2. Will there be a mode where I don't have to deal with war n' stuff?

And most importantly
3. How big of a role will Giant Death Robots play?

Simon Bradbury you are the Lead Designer of Firefly a role which obviously requires talent and a fair bit of expertise. It is my understands that you have played a fundamental part in the development of successful titles such as Caesar IV. Now that you are turning your attention to your upcoming title CivCity: Rome which is developed together with Firaxis. I quess the most important question I can ask is: Do you like Spam?

The food, not the internet junk.

Ask Sid Meier if hes played "centurion defender of Rome"
And if we can have simplified combat which that gam pioneered.

Sounds like an interesting game...!

Do we have to play as Romans? (i hate those guys....)

Yeah!! What have the Romans ever done for us?

It's a mixing of CIV and Caesar? Cool I loved both.

The most important part of Caesar was the infrastructure and city subsystem menus that enabled you to highlight problem areas and fix them? Are there going to be more in depth control of the city management in this game, because I felt after Ceasar III, it could stand to be made more complicated and still retain the charm of defend and conquer style Roman imperialism.

Don't dis the Romans! They are cool! They're technology was more advanced than the Victorians (well, apart from the area of gunpowder). Thats 2000 years earlier!

I'm part Roman (my dad was born and bred in Rome)
