I haven't seen a recent AP Test thread, so I went ahead and made one. Which AP tests are you taking?

For me:
1. AP World History
2. AP Modern European History
3. AP Environmental Science
4. AP English Lit.

I took:
Junior year:
American History (4)
Senior Year:
European History (5)
English Literature (4)
AB Calculus (4)

Got me 19 credit hours for college, allowing me to skip one of the most unpopular courses at my university.

This year, Calc BC, Computer Science A, and US History. Next year, Physics, Computer Science AB, English, and Psych.

This year I am only studying for US History, it's the only one that requires such extensive breadth and depth of knowledge. My school's average last year was 4.6, but I definitely have not been preparing as well as they have. I plan to read the review book front to back this weekend, and every two days until the test. Luckily the other AP tests give me an excuse to skip school(the policy our school has is if you have an AP test that day, you don't have to come to school after), giving me more time to study. From my experience with practice tests, the teacher's tests are harder than the AP's, but I've had trouble hitting the recommended length and recalling enough specific information on the DBQ's and other practice essays. I know people who got 5's who filled out all the pages that were given and others who wrote real short stuff, I just hope my multi-choice makes up for the essays. One thing I find annoying about the US History test in particular, is they don't give you breaks. You get a break after the multi-choice, and then you get 2 hours and 25 minutes to write three essays. Continuous writing for 2 and a half hours-my hand is going to writhe in pain.

I'm taking AP Psychology and AP Human Geography this year. Last year I took AP US History and scored a 4 on it with little effort.

Don't worry too much about the AP US History test. I took it last year and got a 5. Believe me, it was one of the easiest tests I've ever taken, especially the m/c. Knowing the progressives and other political factions by heart might be a good idea.

are you serious? AP US History has the highest % failure rate of any AP test. Its actually one of the hardest.

I took US History, US Gov, and English when I was in high school, and got 4's on all of them. I didnt take them that seriously, but I still got a crapload of college credit (skipped my first semester). Of those three, I actually thought AP US history was kinda hard, but our class sucked, and I didnt buy a study guide

Well you also have to take into consideration it is probably also one of the most popular, so you have loads of what I would call mediocre kids taking the exam that probably shouldn't be, so it drives the pass rate down. Of course, if your teacher sucks then getting a decent grade will be difficult. Im experiencing that now in AP Modern European History with the practice tests i've been going through. Our teacher has taught us the barely the bare minimum.

AP European History for me. (on the 5th of May.)

I wanted to take AP Biology (dispite not having taken the class), but decided against it.

I can do it next year, when I actually take the class.

Ah good ol' AP tests. I remember them well!

I got 54 credits from the beasts.

54 credits? That's insane. Where did you go to college? I took 4 AP courses and got 19 credits - how nmany did you take?

He's at University of Minnesota.

I took 3 tests and got 18 credits. English double dipped for me.

Knowing Perfection, he's making that up.

I got five's on all of them while I was still a fetus. No wonder the dean of harvard has been telling me I've been accepted since I was a toddler.

I wrote all the AP tests 100 years before I was born. In fact, I invented all the things they test including literature and science, and I caused all history.

Seriously, though, I took 4 and almost took 2 others (Biology and Spanish) but couldn't get into them.

11 (Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Physics C (Mech & E&M), Psychology, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, US History, Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, English Composition) I got 5s on all but the two english ones (I got 3s on those)

I never lie!

At many places, one class = more than one credit. I think that's how it's possible for Perfection to do that. Perfection might lie about a lot, but never about his academic stuff. He doesn't have to there.

I took 11 AP tests, which got me out of 10 classes. One of those did get me out of 3 classes. (AP Spanish Language). Off the top of my head, that breaks down into seven 5's, three 4's, and one 3 (damn you Chemistry!!).

I am taking Calculus AB, Physics C mechanics, and Chemistry. Last year i took statistics and I got a 5.

Two years ago, I took calculus BC (5).
Last year, I took physics C (5 + 5) and US history (5).
This year, I have finals that don't require essay questions because essays on physics tests are stupid.

In many states, all students are required to take the test whether they have studied US history or not. It gives the schools more funding when all of the students take AP tests. It's stupid.
