New Leaderhead: Prince Etienne of Glantri

I've finally completed Prince Etienne.
It's 3.5 eras. I say 3.5 because the only thing changed between era 2 and 3 is the colour of his robes/hat and the background. I won't be using the modern era for my mod. Just created that for fun.

It's a mix of the wizard from the cover of the Dungeons and Dragons Module: Five Coins for a Kingdom, and Tim the Enchanter. Hope you like it.

I believe I've found the real Merlin for Master of Myrror. I've been using Gael's Saruman so far.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

By the way, it was late last night when I posted this and I was tired so I forgot something very important. I meant to thank those that gave me suggestions on fixing the problems I had with this leaderhead. Thank you. :thanx:

Also, I explained above why I put the files all separate for download, but if anyone feels that a single file download is much better, please feel free to mention it along with your comments.

Just to clarify, he is one of the princes of the Principalities of Glantri, a country ruled by unrelated wizard princes. He was, however, the most powerful prince, and head of the Great School of Magic in Glantri, which made him, IMO, the best choice for ruler of the country in my mod. Also, when I play my mod with my brother and friends, who played D&D with me, my wizard character will be the replacement for the ruler of Glantri, so I chose this leaderhead as a representation for both.

The dark, dark room was just kind of a personal joke to myself because the room my computer is in I designed to be somewhat dark, and painted somewhat dark, and at the time I wrote that, it was a dark, cloudy day, which made the room very, very dark, even with the lights on. :crazyeye:

But now I'm in the bright and shiny CFC, so no need to worry.

I didn`t say he is the best, I said he is my favorite

I like his style and quality, but the other guys are so good at it, that you can`t pick out the best one, same with units and other files

Themanuneed, what would you replace in the WH mod? I personally don`t like Gilles, he looks weird for a king of the "knight-land" with all those tatoos on his face, and Sauron, cos I think a real chaos warrior would think he`s a wuss

Wow! This will definitely be in Lord of Ragnarok! But, Granraem, could I request a skeleton or zombie leaderhead? I need it for Lord of Ragnarok, and if you make a zombie one, King Arthur could also use it for the Zombie Island scenario.

Yes, it could, and I have some plans to do so. Even to suggest it to the mod team. I`m not requesting it from Grandraem, cos there`s plenty of LHs to pick that character from, and he probably has stuff to make for himself

Again, I love your work Grandraem! I hope that you make soooo many LHs that you get tired of them (about a 100 :goodjob:

), and start making units :king:

Even if you only see them once per game... Everything you actually see while playing the mod is already tattoo-free.

I agree with everything you say (about leaderheads, Warhammer, axes...

So : about Grandraem "he's not the best he's just also my favourite" :lol:

For the rest, I realize I don't have the last version of the mod (face tattoo :confused:

), but I would replace everything that comes from firaxis, not that I don't like it, but I much prefer completely different units and leaderheads that have something in common in their design. Compare CamJH/Kinboat/Aaglo/Utahjazz units : they belong to the same universe, they are parents ; compare them with firaxis', they look strange. Same for leaderheads : put side-by-side Grimgor and Gotrek (by embryodead), they're both ok. Try it with Karl-Franz and Brennus from Conquest, they both look strange. That's all.
