It has to be done so I will do it.

The question is "Do we want to build TGL after the Literature is finished? And if yes, where should we build it? BW or maybe some other city???"

-The Great Library gives two free scientist specialists to the city until the invention of Scientific Method
-It gives 8 culture
-It generates 2 Great Scientist points ( big chance for academy )

Possible polle opinions:
1) Yes, we should build it. I don't care where.
2) Yes we should, and the best location is Boaring Wallow.
3) Yes we should, but not in Boaring Wallow.
4) No we shouldn't, we do not have chanse to get it or we do not need it!
5) I have no opinion in this matter.

You can only vote fore single choise.
Anwsers 1, 2 & 3 are going to be counted as "YES".
EDIT:This poll will be open for 3 days.
EDIT2: I have just noticed a little mistake in one of the poll anwsers... There is ofcourse "Yes we should, in Boaring Wallow".

Ofcourse I vote "YES, in BW".

We have the highest RP production there already, and there are many forests which can be chooped to build it.

TIME OUT....dont we have this poll already...

Who is the MoI? Has it been 7 days? George contact the judges to start an investigation.

You should have just left it as "yes" or "no". Having multiple "yes" votes will lead to "no" winning.

But this makes me wonder where our MoI is located.

it won't if you add the Yes together (or at least yes but don't care where and yes in BW)

Like I have written in the poll text: /Anwsers 1, 2 & 3 are going to be counted as "YES"./

This poll wont be binding..you can not add the yes's and its not public.

The not public thign I am not sure about but this really is already being polled. Just because the last poll is not going the way you like is no reason to start another one.

Also let the MoI take the lead on this, this is like someone requiring a poll on troop movement approval...you wouldnt like it either( I know I didnt). We have people in officies to oversee there areas...let them do it.

It looks like another poll is needed, between yes - build it and no - don't build it.

About the MoI... Have You seen him lately?

Boaring Wallow is the capital city of our country, Licentia. :)

btw, there are several things wrong with this poll. no abstain option available...poll is not public...poll about this already up.

I have no opinion in this matter = abstain

I have allready written why this poll is up though another poll is up with similar problem. Scrolle up a little.

About public... what do I have to do to make poll public?

when making a poll scroll down before posting. there will be a bunch of options, each with a box next to them. simply check off the "public poll" option and when you post the poll, the results will be public. :)

We should build it in a city with a high production output.

where is our censor? mr.CJ..that is abetter question

I don't think it's a better question. If the Censor was to validate or invalidate this poll, a judicial review could still be requested that could possibly overturn whatever the Censor did.

Also, IIRC, the Censor's procedures specifically state that if a poll isn't reviewed within 48 hours it is to be considered as validated. Not a good procedure in my view but a valid one until superceded by something else. As I said earlier, you can always request a judicial review of this poll.

The Constitution is written so the last poll to close takes precedence, if the polls start out at equal levels.

This poll does not state it is a referendum or an initiative, nor does it meet the polling standards required to make it binding because the options are not clear, in the sense that it is not clear how the votes should be interpreted. Also there is no link to the discussion. I think that makes this poll informational.

II. Polling Standards
IIA. The description and initial post for all official polls should be stated in a clear and neutral manner.
IIB. The initial post should contain a link to all relevant discussion threads. Each option should be explained if not immediately clear. The time frame for the poll, and how the results will be interpreted should also be in the initial post.
IIC. All official polls must be open for a minimum of 2 days to be binding, however it is recommended that binding polls be open from 3 to 4 days if possible.
IID. Official polls should be marked Public unless directly concerning another Citizen.

Did I ever said that this poll is something more then informational? So is this discusion realy needed? This poll is informational, and always was. So tell your opinion, and nothing more is needed. OK? Are we clear? Good.

there is nothing wrong with an informational poll so the official knows what the public wants

but according to the Code of Laws certain things must be decided by the citizen by means of a formal poll, we should follow that rule
