This has probably been asked in the past, but do you think we should create our own forum? NESing has little to do with Civ3 so why are we still a sub-forum? NESing is a large culture and I think we should have our own separate forum.
That would be a good thing wouldn't it?There would be more NESes and more NESers. Of course it would have side effects, but it would help the NESing community.
Or it would die out as not many people just sit around googling for "Never Ending Story" and a lot of the NESing community stumbled in here by accident, then never left. Option 2 was also explored previously, and apparently was generally against. Though I still don't see the harm in putting a link to this forum under the Civ4 Stories and Tales heading. However, Option 2 here is a "Move" option which is unnecessary, so I'll go with 3.
I frankly kind of like a small community
it lets you get to know people better then having a ton of people moving around everywhere. Frankly I like a smaller community.
Why Move when you can Link? Same effect, simpler to execute. And a seperate forum would in all likelihood result in a smaller community as it would be isolated from new members, and gradually die out.
If we ask the admins to link it to the Civ 4 forums, they might well say "well, this has nothing to do with civ anyway, so we'll move you to all other games," and then we wither and die. Do you want that on your conscience?
