Peace Confrence

Mission Statement:

We the people of the world noting the disturbing trend toward armed conflict have come together to solve the territorial disputes in Europe and North America.

Territorial Disputes

France and Germany

Asclae Loraine occupied by Germany in Great War, pouplated by French. Germany refuses to return territory despite rightful French claims.

Russia and Ukraine

Ukraine forcibly made independent by Germany in Great War. Lacks history, culture, or any reason for existence other than German whim of fancy. Largely ethnic Russian.

Russia and Baltic States

Made independent by Germany in Great War. Lacks history, culture, or any reason for existence other than German whim of fancy. Largely ethnic Russian.

Russia and Poland

Made independent by Germany in Great War. Lacks history, culture, or any reason for existence other than German whim of fancy. Largely ethnic Russian.

Bulgaria and Russia

Bessebaria and East Bukhinov occupied by Bulgaria forcibly. Largely ethnic Russian.

Finland and Russia

Finland occupied Mumarask, and much of Lapland and Kola Peninsula from Russia. Larely ethnic Russians.

Ireland and Britian

Ulster sepratists desire union with Britian. Denied forcibly by Ireland.

Canada and USA

Canada occupied by US, Canadians clearly desire indepdnece, being forcibly supressed.
 
Italy requests that the territories of Venice and Fiume be added to the list. These regions are ethnically Italian and we were about to begin negotiations with the Austrians about the future of these lands. Please add them to the list so that their future with Italy can be decided.

we would gladly give you back Venice (with the end boundary being Trieste, which we'll keep)...

...if you give us Albania.

Its a trade, really.
 
Ukraine has commonly been known as White or Little Russia. It has no culture or history of it's own, unless you view the barbarian Cossacks as a sovereign nation.

As for Poland, we will remain silent, although we should note that if Poland receieves independence, both Germany and Austria should give up their Polish lands as well to the new nation.
 
To France and Russia
From Germany

Poland has a very rich history if we note correctly, having been independent on and off these many centuries. We determined that those people have a right to remain independent and free. As for Ukraine it has a distinct national identity and we will defend its right to exist just as many of the countries we have libereated. Russia seems to forget that it itself is made up of many different ethnicities and people and cannot seem to understand the will of these people to leave and exist as their own country. We are actually quite surprised at Russia's insistence that these states and nations do not have a viable history. As for Asclae Loraine, that territory was handed over to us by the Treat of Versaille and was rightfully won after a long and bloody struggle that if we remembered correctly was started by the former Entente, now the Facist Axis.
 
suggestion for alsaace lorraine:
they be handed over to france but become a demilitarized zone so as to create a bumper between the two nations

We also would like to point out the ethnic difference of poles as well as their desire for independence that has finally be realised by them
 
on ireland: We would like to point out the distinct difference in Irish history to that of britain and scotland. Ireland was a flourishing nation after the fall of Rome but was quickly overshadowed by the uniting english tribes. They were distinctly catholic while england protestant. Ireland has every right to remain independent especially after the massacres of their people.
 
To USA
From Germany

A demilitarized zone would be acceptable so long as German operations remain unimpeded by French authorities.

Therefore we make the following suggestions.

France maintains full authority of the territory, however continues to allow Germany exclusive rights to mining and the extraction of resources within that area. This way France reunites itself with the rest of its people and Germany still maintains the reperations owed to us in the Versaille Treaty.
 
well Ireland clearly should have the ability to hold its lands, key word settlers, so it was originally the irish so they should keep it
 
Ireland has an entirely rightful claim to the Ulster provinces of its north, and under no circumstances will transfer them to tyrannical British control.

We cite the past atrocities of the British upon Irish catholics for centuries, and fear what the fate of our catholic bretheren in the North, which make up near 40% of the area, their welfare and human rights in serious jeopardy under the dictator of a King which currently occupies the British throne.
 
USA supports the German idea, if France is truly only seeking the ability to be with its brethren they will accept it, otherwise they would clearly show that they are only want the profit that those lands hold
 
By now Alasce and Lorraine is about 50% French and 50% German owing due to heavy German colonisation. They are petitioning the Kaiser directly now to reaffirm their status in the German Reich. Meanwhile the German Reichstag has issued a memorandum stating that the German Kaiser may not give up any lands gained from the Strasborg Treaties of 1917 without the prior consent of the Reichstag.

The Ukrainian, Polish and Livonan governments reject out of hand the Russian proposals.

The Finnish government says it would rather go to war than to return Lapland to Russian domination.

In Ulster the Republicans are protesting vigrously against any planned reunification with Britian, while the Unionists are plotting more terrorist attacks.
 
Aslace-Lorraine was not gained in any 1917 treaty, therefore it is completely valid for the Kaiser to cede said land. France would be willing to accept a demilitarized zone, and of course Germany will recieve trade concessions in the region, as we know how important the resources of Aslace-Lorraine are to the German industry.
 
Most of Aslace-Lorraine wasnt gained in 1917 but rather 1871. Howevever the parts of Aslace-Lorraine bordering directly on the French border were gained in 1917.
 
How about we just split the territory in half outright? France gets one half and Germany the other. Reichstag willing to accept that? What about France?
