Help Using MultiPlayer Smart Map

Hey All

Me and my friend use smart map single player as it gives way better maps than the vanilla mode,

When we tried to use smart maps online at the start of the game it tells us both we are out of sync in BIG red writing. Is there anyway we can use smartmaps over the net?

I don't know smart maps and I have multiplayed only a handful of games, but: isn't it possible to create a game in single player mode and then load it as multiplayer?
 
humm strange. Well we both can play when not using smart maps. But when we use it the game goes out of sync we lowerd the res this did resolve the issue.

Allright then :p I've created a SINGLE PLAYER game with the smartmap settings I wanted. Then converted it to multiplayer using the nifty saveconvert utility found at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=167669

Works for us, 6 players, no "out of sync" errors.
