How about some custom maps next time or a city limit on a lower level for newer players!?

I downloaded it this shall be the first gotm for civ 2 I shall play so wish me luck. (King is right around my level of difficulty.) ummm I hope it really is a small map but it looks like a hostile starting spot though.

I may be blind, I thought I saw the due date once, but now I can't find it. This thread seems like the place to announce it.

I am almost finished. Thank you for the Small Map, and the Two Settlers. The fact that the map is dry is an interesting challenge. I built the Pyramids very early. The Raging Horde is chaos, of course, but seems harder on the AI than on me. The Barbs had captured the English city York before I got there.
