I've been everywhere, man
This is a modified version of my Panzer IV. This is an earlier model w/ a different cannon and no skirts.

Info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_IV
The Panzerkampfwagen IV (PzKpfw IV), more commonly referred to as the Panzer IV, was a tank developed by Germany and used extensively in World War II. It was designed initially as an infantry-support medium tank, to work in conjunction with the anti-tank Pzkpfw III. Later in the war, it was up-gunned and up-armored, and took over the tank-fighting role. The Panzer IV was the most common German tank of World War II, and was used as the base for many other fighting vehicles, such as tank destroyers and self-propelled antiaircraft gun. The Panzer IV has the distinction of being the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout all of WWII, with over 9,000 produced since 1939.

Poly: 600

The unit uses custom animations, so please point to PzKpfwIVAusfF.kfm in your XML. The texture was adapted from one off of CMMD.

ENJOY!

Well, somebody's been busy! :D

All four tanks look great, although the textures for the french tanks are not your best, especially for Char B1 'Bis'. On the other hand this Panzer and especially the Russian tanks, the textures on them look awesome. :goodjob:

Do you think you might do some modern ships in the future? I mean the tanks are great, but I think you're already approaching the point where you would've done all the existing tanks. :D

Hehehe... Yeah, I just sort of threw up tanks tonight. I had been modelling and skinning these 5 (the Tiger I was posted before you did!) over the last month. I finally got around to posting them tonight. The textures were all off of CMMD execpt of the Bis. I had to do that one myself, and I'm still not very good at textures.

As for modern ships, those take FOREVER. The Ticonderoga class I made a while back to so long, I haven't tried getting back at them. Also, I leave on the 26th, so from then on out it's only what I can do in those spare moments between work and sleep.

I'm almost completely out of WW2 tanks to do. There are a couple of British, American and Russian tanks left, but they aren't critical. Right now I'm focusing on finishing up the loose ends before the 26th so people will still have some of their requests filled (like the Dwarf Gyrocopter for the WH mod).

Glad you like these!

Again, Smitty... very nice. That's all I have to say. (yes, I'm lazy tonight and copying and pasting!)

Again: great unit!

But I have a litte question:
The cannon is very short, is this the siege tank version of the Panzer IV?

OMG!! The unit king is back!! Your tanks pack is awesome!! It's like christmas and birthday at the same time today!! No wonder that you haven't realeased anything the last weeks;)
My critics are (I'm posting here also for your other latest models):
1. The Tiger looks slightly too short on the front end, nice textures though..
2. The BT2 is almost perfect, the green camo looks too bright, would look better with the dark green tan from a T-34..
3. CharB1's model is great, the texture looks toyish and not that real though..
4. R35 perfect!! But can you make also a unicolor texture? Also for the CharB1?
5. The PzKpfw IV is soo awesome, but I'm missing the sideskirts and the long-barreled 7,5cm gun!!!

What are your next models in progress??

WOW,

That's the way it's supposed to be - I make my models from several different plans, so it might just be the viewing angle.

Yeah, textures aren't the thing I'm best at. I couldn't find a green texture for the BT2, so that's why the green is the way it is - I had to improvise. The CharB1's texture is from scratch - which explains it's appearence. I'm sure someone can make a unicolor texture for them. Me, I just don't have enough time, sorry:rolleyes:

Already Done!

As for what's coming next - I'm trying to fill those older requests before I go.

Thanks for the imput!

This is the Ausf F version, (I think, there are so many different versions of this tank-) w/ the smaller cannon. It's more appropriate vs. infantry than armor because of it's larger projectile and smaller velocity. So yes.:crazyeye:

Yep, that's true. Just looked at my plastic model and from certain angles it often looks different.
