[Warlords] Is it possible to use the old menu screen?

I know the expansion is just out today, so maybe I'm asking this a little early, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to get the spinning globe menu in Warlords. I've already restored the openingmenu music from the original game, which I prefer, but I've no idea how to get the hairy swordsman off my screen. :p

Does anyone have any ideas, or is this a premature question?


EDIT: Ah! Each of the Warlords scenarios has its own menu, so I suppose what I'm asking *is* possible. I still don't know how to do it, though. :p
 
Was just asking myself that question when I played warlords for the 1st time last nite....There has 2 be a way, found a mod that lets me change the opening menu for oblivion....newayz, if ne1 knows of where to get this mod Id appreciate it 2....
 
I do not have warloads yet, so I can be sure at 100% but i think you only have to copy all the files in the main menu folder(civ) into the main menu folder(warlords) and rename the mainmenu.nif(civ) if the nif of the main menu(warlords) have a different name.

I think i'm not clear :D
 
Except the 'main menu' folder in CivIV only has some clouds.dds file, while the Warlords main menu folder has a bunch of stuff in it. In both cases, I went to "assets\art\interface\main menu".

There has to be a way to do it, since all the warlords scenarios have unique menus.
 
I think we have to mofify the Python file... I have done it to cancel the movie of Warlords and I think it could be possible to change to the CIV 4 Screen...

the warlord menu screen with the ugly "barbare moustachu" and the arabic song is so bad! it doesn't feel like "civilization epic game" anymore!

so i want: my old vanilla menu screen back and my old "babayetu" song back!

the man that will find a way to do this will be a true :king: !

I tried but I couldn't zip the file smaller than 5MB in order to add it.

filefront doesnt have it. please upload it! this would be a great little fix. Stupid hairy swordsman!

that link doesnt work, it keeps saying Your "download has failed. There were no available download servers. Click here to try your download again." no matter how many times and what time of the day you try it at.

I want my vanilla menu screeeeeeeen! :'(
 
I installed it, I see the old menu screen and music, and the game crashes whenever I load or start a game.

Jawesome. Need to reinstall civ now. Last time I ever try something first.
