This mod is what it is. I have no plans at this point to update it as I've moved on to other projects. :)

I love workers and building terrain improvements. Since Civ2 I have loved going around constructing great intercontinentaly road systems. In Civ3 my favorite nich in MP games was to be the work forse of the humans and AIs around me, earning gold and protection for my services.

One of my other favorite things in Civ3 was locking my captured foriegn works inside fort prisons or making them clear swamp across the land.

Therefore, because of my general fandom for workers and my longing to have slaves once again locked inside my well gaurded forts, I put these two slave units together. Their worker rate and cost are just under half that of a normal worker.

Beyond these two units, I am planning one, maybe two, more workers to add to this mod in the near future. The for sure one is a Wilderness Worker that will have some kind of combat and an animal bonus.

Before I add anymore new kinds of workers I just need to find some worker retextures. I am going to be watching the File Data Base as people add more units to it and I'm sure some will pop up shortly. :)

Here is some info on the slave worker units and some screenshots...

Name: Slave

Type: UNIT_SLAVE
Class: UNITCLASS_SLAVE

PreReq Tech: Bronze Working (same as slavery civic)

Cost: 25 (normal worker is 60)
Combat: None
Movement: 2
Work Rate: 45 (normal worker is 100)

This unit is the default slave unit and is a retextured worker unit made by LittleRedPoint. It is dirty white worker guy and can do all the same things as a normal worker, just at half the speed. For the moment you can't build this unit, it can only be gotten by capturing settlers, workers, and/or Great People.

Type: UNIT_AFRICAN_SLAVE
Class: UNITCLASS_SLAVE

PreReq Tech: Bronze Working (same as slavery civic)

Cost: 25 (normal worker is 60)
Combat: None

Work Rate: 45 (normal worker is 100)

This unit is the dark skinned version of the slave and was also a retexture done by LittleRedPoint. This unit can be used as the national slave unit for several civilizations and replaces the default slave unit. It can do all the same things as a normal worker, just at half the speed. For the moment you can't build this unit, it can only be gotten by capturing settlers, workers, and/or Great People.

Hi, Jeckel. Please, have you plan rework this mod for Bts, or will be work this under Bts?

Btw, I was thinking about possibilities have no two slave type but preserve original form as was worker in a jiffy when you capture him and add a number turns (for example 80 for normal speed) after will be changed slave to classic worker...

Sorry, no I don't think I will be updating this any time soon. :(

First post updated with text to state this project is on hold for now.
