That one is cool! I'm not into SMAC but ok this might be a borehole. For me it also looks like a occult shrine, altair or something else. Is it a laser borehole, right! And if yes, is it animated somehow?

It's inspired by the borehole cluster (a group of boreholes made by ancient aliens), cause they look better as the 'modern' boreholes.

Feel free use it as you want, but give credit if you post it with some of your work

No animations, but 2 .dds: one for the metal and one for the magma.
