I seem to recall the CTP internet wonder movie portraying the Internet as a series of tubes.

Could that be where Ted Stevens got his idea?

There was a net neutrality hearing about a month or so ago. Ted Stevens was one of the speakers who argued for it. His speech has been mocked by most of the free world.
