Is there any interest out there?

I think the majority of you are in Montreal, so I'd be OK going down there. What do you think?

It's a bit of a haul for me, but I'll keep the idea in mind. Schedule may not permit however, though I may have a business trip to Ottawa sometime over the next few weeks.

It would require a full day on road or rail to get there, and annother to return. Definately not the sort of thing I can get into at this time.

I was about to suggest something of the sort myself. I'd greatly prefer a meet-up here in Montreal, since it's impractical for me to get elsewhere, but Ottawa would certainly be doable as well.

The idea of a get-together for a hockey game was thrown before by Raisin. Sounds like a plan to me! :thumbsup:

But my schedule of the next few months is still unsure. Montréal would of course be my first choice, but Ottawa is a short drive away so that's good too.

Montreal for sure, Ottawa dosen't seem like a problem ... if we all chip in for gas I would be able to give 3 guys from montreal a lift to Ottawa.

He was posting here before and was the canadian equivalent of MobBoss in a way. A very bitter and dishonest fortysomething guy. And he didn't particulary care for Québec and the movement of wich I was the sole representative here for a while. I'm kiddin about wanting him there, he's nuts! :lol:

I'd love to go, though if it's in Montreal I might have trouble getting there -- I left my car back in Ohio. Wonder, how much is a flight / bus there?

well, if we can convince sysyphus to come to Ottawa first, I'd have no problem driving augurey and him to Montreal, assuming we can crash at someone's place for the night.

I can fit one on my sofa - 1 between me and my GF and 1 with my 2 years old kid :lol:

I'd spit the cost of gas and depending on the hotel rates would do the same for a room if there was nowhere to crash. I'm not a four-star needy guy.

On a side note, I've never been to Quebec besides the Gatineau area.
