Some dismounted units

I've seen a bunch of units that came as foot soldiers get put up onto horses.
Here's the opposite.
I took these guys off of their mounts/rides.
I hope they prove usefull to someone.

Charioteer as swordsman

Hmm the dismounted charioteer reminds me a lot of the iberian infantry unit in rome:total war... Flavour unit replacing swordsman for spain/carthage??? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* Rabbit... EDU...

You could save a lot of polies by deleting all meshes that don't show.

yeah i forgot to on these. i usually leave those in for models i am still working on/may work on again and try to remove them for publication and/or use in a mod.

I did everything what the description in the download page says and copied those dds files into the folder, yet there are more files required.

- The Bow of the Roman archer is pink. Missing dds
- The whole knight has some sort of Pink-ish. More dds are missing
- the Sword and shield of the ancient swordman are pink.

it sounds like i forgot to list some dds files try:

longbowman weapons.dds
knight_gloss.dds
chariot driver weapons.dds

look for files like these where you got the others and tell me which files fix the issue so can correct the list.

Actually when you copy all the DDS files into the folders, then it works.. The only remaining problem was the bow of roman bowman. I try now longbowman weapons.dds.

There is no longbowman weapons.dds, so I copied all DDS files in the longbowman folder there and now it works. Many thanks.

I cannot find logbow folder. There are many units I cannot find. marine etc.. Where are they???

Have you used the firaxis supplied unpac utility to unpak the art files?
They should be within wherever you unpaked them to.
