This is my third mod! It includes all ancient civs. I will add more civs, new graohics, and much more in later versions, this one remains untested. Updated to version 0.5! 0.5 now released as of April 2, 2007!

I hope there are no bugs.

Great jobm Drtad. Kudos to you for including a lot of neat civs that have been overlooked! :)

I have a small concern, however, that people may confuse your "First Peoples" mod with the one in my sig. Just something to think about, name-wise.
 
Actually it was inspired by your first peoples of North America mod. I thought that why shouldn't there be a First Peoples of the world mod? Great job on your mod by the way.:goodjob:
 
I decided to hold off adding the new civs and just fix all of the buttons and add as many original graphics as I can.
 
I will post the next version soon. Mainly graphical changes, but also one horrible mistake.

I have decided to add the Nubians under Taharqa and Aspelta and maybe Alara for the next version! I completely forgot about them and I wanted to add at least one African ancient civ.
 
What about the major contenders in the mahajanapadas like magadha. Their most famous king was Bimbisara, if I'm not mistaken he was a convert of Buddha himself. You could easily find pictures of him and info. Also maybe civs like kosala, gandhara.
 
Are the mahajanapadas epics like the Mahabharata? I have read the Mahabharata, and it is very good, but I would think that having India in Vanilla Warlords is good enough, but I may add another ancient leader to the civilizations that are eligible, good idea.:goodjob: That reminds me that I should also add the ancient Khmer. I'll put it on the to do list...

I think mahajanapadas refers to the 16 kingdoms in the mahabharata. I do hope to read it someday. Its just soo long as I've heard:p I think really all you should do is magadha since they were the most powerful and were the predecessors to the Mauryans and essentially Asoka.
 
I suppose I could add Bimbisara as a third leader of India, found a good leaderhead picture:king: . I still don't see how Magadha could qualify as being a separate civilization of India.
 
:sad: I have decided to hold off uploading version 0.3 after discovering a diplomacy problem.
 
Yeah ,after thinking about it, Magadha is really just ancient india, a precursor state to modern india, like making the han dynasty of china its own civ. Adding Bimbisara as a third leader sounds like a much better idea to me.
Also I know you're addin loads of leaders and civs, but have you thought of addin a second leader to the persians?
